I have 5 X-Files CD's the first is Mark Snow's The Truth and the Light which is music from the show. The music is good but a little disjointed and rather out of context. The next is the X-Files theme CD single that was released at the same time as the Truth and the Light. This has 3 tracks, the original music and 2 re-mixes. The next 3 are all connected with the movie. There is the actual score from Fight the Future by Mark Snow. Then the soundtrack which features various artists the best being a Mike Oldfield remake of the X-Files Theme 'Tubular X' (for more on Mike Oldfield try www.mikeoldfield.org)

The final one I have is a freebie that was issued by the Sunday Times in the UK It contains a couple of the music tracks, a screen saver and an offer of free Internet access. I have never played it. The rumours are that if you did the Consortium would have downloaded all your details from your PC and know where to find you for the next set of abductees.
